2019 saw the second Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism. This city, considered one of the most densely-populated and over-priced cities in the world, offers real estate at a staggering $80,000 per square metre. In this context, the work of ten UK architectural practices and ten students of the The Bartlett School of Architecture offered current British perspectives on urbanism. Works were selected by Peter Bishop, the Bartlett’s Professor of Urban Design; the show’s creative director was Isabel Allen, editor-in-chief of Citizen magazine. Lucy or Robert designed the exhibition and an accompanying case-bound book.
