Hauser & Wirth Somerset is developing a new arts initiative at Durslade Farm in Bruton. Lucy or Robert were commissioned to design the inaugural brochure.
An arts centre and landscaped flower meadow will become a destination for experiencing art, architecture and landscape with an extensive events and education programme.
The farm buildings at Durslade are historically important, though derelict. The project will restore and conserve these important buildings and complement them with newly designed gallery and service facilities for the enjoyment of the community and future generations.
Hauser & Wirth is one of the world's leading contemporary art dealers. Iwan and Manuela Wirth and Ursula Hauser opened their first gallery in Zurich in 1996, to be followed by two galleries in London (2003, 2010), two in New York (2009, 2013), and Bruton in 2014.
