The British Museum has one of the world’s largest collections, displaying over 50,000 artefacts in an exhibition area of over 75,000 sqm.

We have worked with the museum from 2006–11 to upgrade the wayfinding and
sign system throughout nearly one hundred public galleries – over 3 kilometres of exhibition space.

The work includes a coherent suite of pictograms, the display of the museum map, a system of directional signs, a unified set of gallery introduction stelae, and live audio-visual events calendars.
