In July 2018, Niall Hobhouse and cohorts invited us to create a graphic identity for the launch of a season of events to be staged in Stephen Taylor's Cowshed at Shatwell Farm, Somerset. Purcell's opera, Dido & Aeneas, with a feast by Lucas Hollweg, sets the scene using details from Niall's extensive collection of architectural drawings. Staged by Sam Jacob with a reconstruction of Adolf Loos' Mausoleum, plus scenography by Mathew Day Jackson, the production is directed from the harpsichord by Matthew Owens, with sopranos Ali Darragh and Jane Rogers, baritone Craig Bissex and The Brook Street Band on period instruments.
