Merlin's restaurant Osip opened in Bruton in 2020, just weeks before the cycle of Covid-19 lockdowns began. With little or no social dining allowed, Merlin and partner Michelle created Bruton Provisions to supply a range of dishes and local ingredients at the kitchen door; and in readiness for new ways of dealing with 2021, they are opening a wine and cider bar – The Old Pharmacy – alongside the Michelin-starred restaurant.
