Lucy or Robert are designers who specialise in graphic design for museums. We deliver creative graphic solutions – we arrange the words and the pictures – for exhibitions, narrative environments, signing programmes, and print projects in museums, galleries and cultural institutions.

Our work is characterised by an engagement with the content and attention to detail throughout the design and production process. We resource large projects by contracting through a network of professional associates and by maintaining partnerships with specialist designers, craftsmen, technicians and manufacturers as required. We recognise that design is a process which client and designer undertake together based on an understanding of audiences and goals.

Based on the partnership of its two principals, Robert and Lucy Carter, the studio was established in 1998.
